Getting started

Welcome to the Receiptu help center. These pages explain how the product behaves for end users and anyone integrating with your data.

What Receiptu does

• Attachments — Upload receipts and invoices; we run OCR and keep both the original extraction and values you can correct.
• VAT (BTW) — Track money in (sales / output VAT) and money out (purchases / input VAT) to support your Dutch-style workflows.
• Foreign currency — When documents are not in EUR, we preserve original amounts and apply a clear FX policy when a reliable rate exists. Receiptu does not replace your accountant or tax software. Use it as a structured layer for documents and reporting aids.
